RISD Holiday Design Sales

The Rhode Island School of Design produces some seriously talented artists and designers. Every year, RISD's Holiday Art Sale draws big devoted crowds, snatching up one-of-a-kind creations designed and made by the school's alumni.

Some of our favorite RISD alumni include Ryan Kundrat of Hoopla jewelry fame and Devon Holzwarth, creator of devon industry's wooly hand-felted accessories.

This year's annual sale will be on December 9th in Rhode Island. Luckily, for those of us not in the east coast, the sale's popularity has also spread to the west, with a Bay Area version of the RISD sale happening this weekend, November 19th, at Fort Mason in San Francisco. What a great way to support independent artists and finish some holiday shopping at the same time!
